Troy was the cofounder of WestEdge Design Fair, established in 2013 with a bold vision to create more than a traditional trade show. He built a vibrant, inclusive platform that connected designers, makers, brands, and enthusiasts, fostering creativity and meaningful collaboration. Prior to WestEdge, Troy played a key role in launching the AD Design Show in New York City, where he created the innovative “MADE” section—championing independent artists and elevating emerging voices.
Known for his humility, generosity, and magnetic charm, Troy made everyone feel welcome. He led with kindness over ego and was admired for his quick wit and self-deprecating humor. Beyond his professional achievements, Troy supported numerous philanthropic organizations, including Ronald McDonald House, Heal the Bay, DIFFA, and Housing Works, and served on the boards of the Sustainable Furnishings Council and NYCxDESIGN.
